Nostalgic Rainy Days: A Journey from Childhood to Retirement
Rainy days have always held a special place in the hearts of common people. From childhood to retirement, these days carry the weight of memory...
I don't just follow paths — I create them.
From the high-stakes world of telecom boardrooms to building movements rooted in culture, creativity, and community, my journey is driven by one unshakable belief: ideas and stories have the power to change lives.
I am a voice from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala — shaping narratives, building platforms, and igniting change. As the founder of Books n Beyond, a free public reading movement, and Love All Sports, the capital city's first multi-sport academy, I am committed to creating spaces where minds expand and talent thrives.
This is not just what I do — this is what I stand for.
Sukesh R Pillai · SRP
Sukesh Ramakrishna Pillai is not merely a writer — he is a curator of memory, mood, and meaning.
Emerging from the world of blogging into a refined voice of storytelling, his work captures the quiet luxury of nostalgia — childhood, relationships, legacy, and the subtle inheritance of loss — rendered with elegance, restraint, and unmistakable style.
As the founder of Love All Sports, Thiruvananthapuram's first multi-sport centre of excellence, and the mind behind Books n Beyond, the city's first free public library, along with the Garuda Community Library in the tribal settlement of Pankavu, his vision extends beyond words into institutions that shape culture and access.
His contributions have been honoured with the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Sahithyashree National Award (2024), the Padmashree Thikkurissi Foundation Silver Jubilee Award (2024), and the Bharath Sevak Samaj National Award (2024) — among other distinguished recognitions.
Regarded as one of Kerala's most compelling contemporary voices, he represents a rare blend of aesthetic sensibility and social intent.
"A library is democracy made physical — every book equally available to everyone, regardless of their wallet."
"Culture is not a museum exhibit. It lives in the language we speak, the food we eat, the stories we carry from childhood to old age."
"Sports taught me more about discipline, fairness and resilience than any classroom ever did."
"Every story I write is a conversation — with the past, with the reader, and with the Kerala I love."
Stories rooted in Kerala's culture, nostalgia and the human experience — written to ease the mind and stir the soul.
"Some bonds are written in silence. Some last forever."
In the heart of the forests of Aryankavu and Neyyar, a young boy discovers a friendship that transcends words and touches the soul. What begins as innocent encounters by a stream blossoms into an unbreakable bond between a child and an elephant named Mani. Through seasons of joy and parting, distance and longing, their connection endures — quiet, profound, and eternal.
A heartwarming tale of friendship beyond species — a story that will stay with you long after the last page.

Founded on October 20, 2016, Love All Sports Academy is Sukesh's dream made real — Thiruvananthapuram's first multi-sport centre of excellence, nurturing young talent with professional coaching and the right values.
From badminton to cricket, the Academy has grown to become a recognised institution in Kerala's sports landscape, with media coverage across major publications.
In 2022, Sukesh founded BNB Library — a free, open reading space in Trivandrum where anyone can walk in and read without paying a membership fee. No barriers. No fees. Just books and curious minds.
The library is packed with a wide diversity of books on various topics and subjects. Its mission: to reignite reading habits in a generation distracted by social media. The Garuda Community Library in the tribal settlement of Pankavu extends this mission even further into Kerala's most underserved communities.
